LIVESTREAMINGThis year some games will be livestreamed by NZ Sport Collective Ltd (NZSC). These will be limited to games on courts 1 & 10. More information on where to find this will be shared closer to the time. By entering your team in the event, all teams consent to the following: - Still and moving images that have been taken or recorded by or on behalf of SISS Netball Association may be used in any or all of the promotional, social and advertising material of SISS Netball Association or provided to any third party, including but not limited to SISS Netball Association partners and sponsors, for their reasonable use as they see fit.
- This event will also be broadcast, and your team may be filmed/ interviewed (not all games are livestreamed) and available on demand on Whakaata Māori, Māori Active.
We are asking all Sport Coordinators to have a conversation with their Principals about their school team being filmed or livestreamed. If your school team wishes to opt out of having their games filmed or livestreamed, please send an email to the LOC Secretary before before 7 August. Please note SISS Netball Association adheres to the School Sport Charter regarding its school events. |
PLAYER NUMBERS All players need to have an identification number to assist selectors in talent ID. For clarity the player number will be the number as per the sporty registration number. This will be uploaded onto the SISS website prior to tournament. |
SCORINGA reminder that all scoring for the SISS Tournament will be done using the Scoring App, instead of scorecards. Please ensure any scorers for your team have the scoring code for your team (available via Sporty) and have downloaded the app to an ipad or phone ready to go for game one of the tournament. Additional information on using the Game Day App can be found on the Christchurch Netball Centre website here: GAME DAY APP Please note: - that while a running scoresheet will be available at each court, this is to be used only if the technology fails!
- timing will be done for each court via the scoreboards.
- live scoring results will again be available through the SISS website as the tournament progresses.
The draw will be available once entries close – approximately 2-3 weeks before tournament. |
2023 TROPHIES – ACTION REQUIREDThanks to those schools who have returned their trophy from the 2023 tournament. Those who are returning at tournament, please ensure your trophy is returned engraved. |
MERCHANDISEA final call for merchandise orders and a reminder that tournament merchandise is available via an online store - link accessible here SISS Netball Sports Gear Store| Impakt Merchandise will be delivered before the tournament OR teams can pick up just prior to the AGM on Sunday evening at 5:30pm. For merchandise being delivered, there is a small delivery cost so this can be either individually to home addresses or as a bulk order to schools to distribute, to save on delivery costs. Orders will close on 7 August. |
UMPIRESA reminder that all teams will have their named umpire officiate their first two games of the week. Following this, umpires will then be allocated across the most appropriate grades. This means it is crucial that teams provide an umpire to perform at the grade being played. Please note that it is expected that schools provide their umpires with their own lunch. Morning and afternoon tea is provided by the LOC. |
